T.J. Ward has gone under the knife to make a minor improvement as he prepares to enter the open market.
The Cleveland Browns safety, who will become an unrestricted free agent in March, underwent LASIK eye surgery on Friday. He posted the following photo of himself on Instagram with the caption "Before and After LASIK surgery."
Ward was selected as a Pro Bowl alternate and could still end up making the trip to Hawaii, based on the outcome of the NFC Championship. If Seattle advances to the Super Bowl, Ward would replace Seahawks safety Kam Chencellor.
Ward has said that he would like to remain in Cleveland if a fair deal can be worked out. It's unclear yet whether or not the Browns are interested in making him an offer.
