MINNEAPOLIS – Kevin Love will play in tonight’s Timberwolves-Bucks matchup after being listed as questionable with an illness earlier in the day, and Andrei Kirilenko is out with back spasms, missing his second consecutive game.
Kirilenko said that he’s dealt with back spasms about once a season for his entire career, and he anticipates being ready to go Tuesday in Philadelphia. He described the sensation as having a stick in his back, and he’s been getting treatment since the pain began.
Josh Howard started for Kirilenko in Los Angeles Wednesday, and he is among the starting five again tonight.
A locker room addition: While the Timberwolves were on their nearly week-long road trip, a cryotheraphy chamber was installed in their locker room. The team went to a cryotherapy facility while in Dallas last season, and several of the players expressed interest in getting one at the Target Center.
