Suter, Parise invited to Team USA orientation camp

Ryan Suter and Zach Parise of the Minnesota Wild have been invited the U.S. Men's National Team Orientation Camp from Aug. 26-27, USA Hockey announced on Monday. 

They are two of 48 players to garner an invitation to the camp preparing for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. 

Both Suter and Parise have previous Olympic experience, having been part of the silver medal-winning team in Vancouver in 2010. Parise posted the third most points in the Olympics, notching four goals and four assists to finish two points shy of Slovakia’s Pavol Demitra and tied for most on Team USA with Brian Rafalski.

Minnesota will be well represented in the camp with just over 24 percent of all players invited hailing from Minnesota.
