Lynx will start playoff schedule at home against Seattle

MINNEAPOLIS — Seattle has to be getting sick of the Minnesota Lynx.

After sweeping the Storm in the teams’ four-game, regular-season series — including back-to-back wins in Washington on Saturday and Tuesday — the Lynx take on Seattle in the best-of-three Western Conference Semifinals starting next Friday, Sept. 20. Minnesota (25-8) earned the conference’s No. 1 overall seed and can clinch home-court advantage throughout the playoffs with a win against Chicago on Saturday at the Target Center.

The Storm (16-17) locked up the West’s fourth and final playoff spot.

Here’s a look at the first-round playoff schedule:

Game 1: 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 20 at Minneapolis (NBA TV)
Game 2: 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22 at Seattle (ESPN 2)
Game 3 (if necessary): TBD, Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Minneapolis (TBD)
