Tom Brady says 'there was plenty of rust' after destroying Browns in 2016 debut

Tom Brady gave the league a glimpse of what might be coming, throwing for 406 yards and three touchdowns in the New England Patriots' 33-13 win over the Browns on Sunday.

It was Brady's 2016 debut after sitting out the first four games of the season to serve a suspension for his involvement in Deflategate. Doesn't look like Brady missed a beat, right?

Well the Pro Bowl quarterback had a different opinion of his performance.

"I think there was plenty of rust out there. I can do better in a lot of areas," Brady said in his postgame press conference, via Pro Football Talk.

Uh, oh. This could be a replay of the 2008 season, when Brady and the Patriots crushed their opponents after the Spygate accusations in 2007. The Patriots nearly ran the table that season, losing to the Giants in the Super Bowl.

New England won't go undefeated this season, but Brady might be on a mission once again to prove his naysayers wrong.
