Report: Brady was at Gillette Stadium day of White House visit
By Anna Fogel
Tom Brady might have picked the home of the New England Patriots over the home of the President of the United States.
The Patriots quarterback skipped out on the Super Bowl champion’s White House visit Thursday because of a prior family commitment, leading many to wonder where in the world Brady could have been while his teammates were being honored by Barack Obama. Well, that mystery might be solved now.
According to ESPNBoston.com’s Mike Reiss, Brady was actually at Gillette Stadium while Bill Belichick and Co. were busy not being amused by Obama’s DeflateGate joke.
“For what it’s worth, I’m told Brady was present at the stadium for a stretch of time Thursday while many in the organization were at the White House,” Reiss wrote, via Boston.com.
Brady was spotted checking out an Apple watch at the Apple store in New York City the very next day before spending some time with the family in the Big Apple on Sunday.
We may never know where he was for sure last week, but we can certainly hope Brady was rocking these TB12 sneakers if he was indeed at Gillette.
