Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are looking to avoid being swept by an AFC East opponent in a season for the first time since 2000. The Bills, having beaten the Patriots once this year, are trying to accomplish that elusive feat, but a former Buffalo receiver is doing his part to prevent it.

Brady hooked up with ex-Bills wideout Chris Hogan in the first quarter for a 53-yard touchdown on a beautifully thrown rainbow pass deep down the sideline.

Hogan torched former teammate Stephon Gilmore, who was obviously looking for help in coverage over the top. He didn’t get it, and the Patriots took a 14-3 lead on the play. Brady had 107 passing yards and two touchdowns in the first quarter alone.
