Watch Rob Gronkowski set a Patriots record with 69th career TD

Rob Gronkowski is well on his way to becoming one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, and he’s just 27 years old. On Sunday, he strengthened that claim by setting a new Patriots record.

Gronkowski scored the 69th touchdown of his career (68 receiving, one rushing), a 53-yarder from Tom Brady down the middle of the field. In doing so, he became the Patriots’ all-time leader in career touchdowns.

It was Gronk’s third touchdown of the season and Brady’s 11th TD pass. Since the two reacquainted with each other following Brady's four-game suspension to start the season, they’ve been on fire. New England’s offense looks nearly unstoppable with No. 12 and 87 healthy and playing at a high level.

Tony Gonzalez holds the NFL’s all-time record with 111 touchdown receptions by a tight end.
