The Prince George's County Police Department announced the arrest of Stephan Pittman of Fort Washington, Md., on its Twitter page. He will face charges of felony fraud in Washington, DC.

Police said the arrest occurred without incident in Temple Hills, Md., which is about 10 miles from the heart of DC.

Earlier this week, EAG Sports Management, which represents Young, said Pittman had been going around the DC area since June claiming to be the former Texas Longhorns star. Pittman allegedly claimed to be collecting money on behalf of the Vince Young Foundation, and visited children in hospitals as part of the scam.

The agency also said Pittman had been "conning unsuspecting women."

"He's running around like he's me saying that he works for the [Vincent Young] Foundation. He's a sex offender, all these types of things, and I want to get out there to the news and everybody in DC to keep watch out for this guy because he's not me and he's out there perpetrating as me," said Young, who first filed a complaint May 1 in his hometown of Houston after being told someone was impersonating him.

"He's already been taking money, taking pictures with little kids at hospitals."

Young, 28, is in his first season with the Eagles serving as the backup to Michael Vick.
