Giants release Randy Bullock, give kicking job back to Josh Brown

Published Nov. 15, 2016 2:17 p.m. ET

Having served his one-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy, Josh Brown again has the New York Giants’ kicking job to himself.

The Giants released kicker Randy Bullock on Tuesday, two days after he missed one of three extra points while filling in for Brown. The team signed Bullock midway through the preseason, after Brown was suspended as the result of a 2015 arrest that followed a domestic violence allegation by his then-wife.

Brown, 37, made his first Pro Bowl last season after hitting 30 of 32 field goals and 44 of 45 extra points in his third season with the Giants. He was added to the active roster Monday, clearing the way for Bullock’s release.
