Karting driver proposes to girlfriend in Victory Lane after winning $3,000

Cameron Carter took home $3,000 with his win Saturday night at the Superior Trailer King of the Concrete main event at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, N.C.

It was his third of seven wins of the weekend, as he became the first driver in the event’s history to sweep all seven pro-class races, bringing in more than $5,000. The event is considered one of the most prestigious indoor-karting events in the country.

However, as Carter emerged from his No. 171 Phantom Racing Chassis kart in Victory Lane after winning the main, the money and the win weren’t the only things on his mind. Instead, the 29-year-old took the opportunity to propose to his girlfriend, Magon Taylor, while being interviewed by Pit Row TV:

Carter had just won over $10,000 last month after winning the Thanksgiving Thunder at the Georgia Karting Komplex, so we’re sure he was able to get Taylor a pretty nice ring.
