MotoGP champ Marquez signs 2-year extension with Honda

MADRID -- MotoGP defending champion Marc Marquez has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him with Honda until the end of the 2016 season, according to Spanish media reports.

Marquez became the youngest world champion in MotoGP last year when he won the title in his rookie season at the age of 20.

The Spanish rider has started this season by sweeping the first four races after starting from pole position to lead the standings.
