Watch Yankees youngsters debut in style with back-to-back homers

The new era of the New York Yankees is officially here -- and it came in with a bang.

A day after 41-year-old Alex Rodriguez played his final game in pinstripes, Yankees prospects Aaron Judge and Tyler Austin both made their major-league debuts and did so in an unforgettable, unprecedented way. The 24-year-old teammates hit back-to-back home runs in their first big league at-bats, something that had never been done before in MLB history.

Austin, the Yankees' starting first baseman and No. 7 hitter, cranked a 2-2 pitch off of Rays pitcher Matt Andriese in the second inning that landed deep in right field for his first career homer.

Moments later, right fielder Judge hit a bomb of his own -- this one, a towering blast to center field.

It certainly didn't take long for the promising young stars to make Yankees fans forget about Old Man A-Rod.

Out with the old, in with the new. So much for that rebuilding period.
