Notre Dame defensive coordinator uses Ric Flair to inspire

Notre Dame's defense has needed some inspiration. Enter Ric Flair, sort of.

The Irish fired defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder after a 1-3 start, during which their opponents pile up 134 points.

Notre Dame turned to Greg Hudson. In his first effort, the Irish posted a win despite allowing Syracuse to score 33 points.

Coach Brian Kelly is hoping Hudson will breathe fire and brimstone into the troops.

And Hudson is looking to get them pumped in different ways in meetings.

One of them is by playing videos of Ric Flair and his trademark "Wooooooo!"
