ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) - Miye Oni scored 19 points with eight rebounds and Yale defeated Cornell 78-71 on Sunday in the completion of a game suspended Saturday night by two power outages.

Jordan Bruner added 15 points and eight rebounds for Yale (13-6, 5-1), which closed with an 8-2 run to record its fourth straight win and move one-half game behind Ivy League leader Princeton.

Stone Gettings had a career-high 28 points with eight rebounds and four steals for Cornell (6-15, 2-4), which cut a 6-point deficit to one on Matt Morgan's 3-point play with 1:57 left. Alex Copeland and Anthony Dallier had baskets on the Bulldogs' next two possessions to extend the lead to 74-69 before Yale sealed the game with four free throws in the final 23 seconds.

A widespread power outage in Ithaca delayed Saturday's scheduled 6 p.m EDT start by nearly two hours. A second occurred with Yale leading 2-0 with 18:27 left in the first half and forced the game to be postponed until Sunday.
