New York Islanders prospect Ryan Pulock breaks glass with his powerful shot at practice.
It came as no surprise when New York Islanders prospect Ryan Pulock broke the glass at the Islanders practice today. He’s got a powerful slapshot that can compete with anybody in the league.
In 2015 he ripped a 105 mph slapper in the Islanders prospect skills competition.
He made his NHL debut this past year and has been known for his big right handed shot. He had four points in 15 games during the regular season and three points in the playoffs.
In the playoffs he was able to let one go as seen here
Expect to see a lot of this on the power play. Just let the kid sit on the blue line and let it rip and hopefully it finds the back of the net. Jack Capuano is reluctant to put Johnny Boychuk‘s big shot on the power play but it would be silly for him to leave Pulock off the power play.
He’s a young kid with a lot of potential. He’s certainly been fun to watch so far.
