Steelers' Moats apologizes for nearly ripping Manziel's head off, Manziel accepts
Steelers linebacker Arthur Moats tweeted an apology to Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel for his egregious face mask tackle on Sunday.
Manziel was fortunate that he only lost a contact on the head-spinning tackle, as Moats dragged him down by his facemask, claiming his hand got caught. Manziel was understanding and accepted Moats' apology.
No hard feelings man just part of the game https://t.co/tlOeLz34Fp— Johnny Manziel (@JManziel2) November 16, 2015
@DCNC70 honestly I wanted to but my hand was stuck. Knew I got him pretty bad which is why I didn't even celebrate after the sack.— Arthur Moats (@dabody52) November 15, 2015
Mike Pereira of FOX Sports says Moats can expect a fine for one of the fiercest face mask penalties he's seen.
