When it comes to racking up yardage, few players can do it like Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte. The versatile ball-carrier is often used as a pass-catcher, since he's Chicago's most dynamic offensive weapon. The Bears are wise to put the ball in his hands as much as possible.

Forte is currently the NFL's rushing leader with 438 yards on a league-leading 102 attempts. He has more than 30 yards on the three players tied for second place.

In addition to his rushing statistics, Forte has also caught 18 passes for 171 yards through the first five games of the season. That's a total of 609 yards from scrimmage, which is second only to Atlanta's Devonta Freeman (645). No player has recorded more offensive touches than Forte's 120.

When it comes to all-purpose yardage, which includes return yardage as well as offensive production, Forte ranks fifth in the league. So long as he's healthy, Chicago's opponents are sure have this back at the center of their game plans.
