Jaguars welcome back healthy Paul Posluszny

Published Jul. 31, 2015 12:37 a.m. ET

After missing the last nine games of the season with a torn pectoral muscle, Jacksonville middle linebacker Paul Posluszny is back and ready to begin training camp with his teammates.

“Not enough words could explain what Poz is to this defense,” safety Johnathan Cyprien said, via the Florida Times-Union. “It’s great to have him back, so great.

The nine-year veteran registered 69 tackles with two sacks for the Jags last season before being injured.

"Body-wise, I feel great,” Posluszny said. “Obviously, I’m all healthy with the pec and everything. … It’s an extremely exciting time of the year. You’re anxious to get back into it, get involved in another season, especially last year. It’s interesting, you get a year cut short and you don’t finish it the way you want, you’re even more anxious to get started the following year.”
