Thunder to host Turkish team Fenerbache Ulker in exhibition contest

"A couple preseasons ago, the Thunder traveled overseas and made a stop in Istanbul, facing Turkish team Fenerbahçe Ülker in a friendly exhibition.

"This preseason, Fenerbache is returning the favor, traveling stateside to face the Thunder. The game will be played on Oct. 9 in Oklahoma City, confirmed by the Turkish club."

Preseason games don't mean much, obviously, but this one will have a little bit of a special feel for Enes Kanter, the Thunder big man who got his professional start with the Turkish club when he was 14 years old.

These types of exhibitions are good for the growth of the game, as they continue expose the NBA product to a global audience.
