UConn remains No. 1 in The Associated Press women's basketball poll Monday.

The Huskies did trail at the half for the first time in nearly a year when they were down to South Florida by 1 point last Monday. They went on to win by 20. The two teams will play again Monday night for the American Athletic Conference tournament title.

The top five stayed the same with Notre Dame, South Carolina, Baylor and Maryland following the Huskies. The Gamecocks, who won the Southeastern Conference championship, gained five points on the Irish closing the gap to four. No one dropped out of the Top 25 this week, but Florida lost 49 points to remain in 25th. It's the lowest point total for any team to be ranked dating back to 2002-03 according to STATS.

New Mexico had the previous low for a ranked team at 31 points on Dec. 29, 2008.
