Five members of the Minnesota Gophers' offense were honored by the Big Ten on Tuesday night.

Shannon Brooks, Brandon Lingen, K.J. Maye and Jonah Pirsig all were tabbed All-Big Ten honorable mention by both the coaches and the conference's media. Additionally, Jon Christenson was selected as Minnesota's recipient of the Big Ten sportsmanship award.

Brooks, a true freshman, led Minnesota with 644 yards rushing. The Atlanta, Ga., native produced seven touchdowns. He was also named Big Ten Freshman of the Week three times in 2015.

Lingen, a tight end, caught 28 passes for 395 yards, which ranked third on the team in both categories. Maye hauled in a team-best 65 passes for 706 yards and four touchdowns; his 65 receptions rank fourth all-time in a single season by any receiver. Pirsig was Minnesota's lone offensive lineman to start all 12 games during 2015. Christenson, meanwhile, played in nine games and contributed to Minnesota's offensive gains throughout 2015.
