Beavers' defensive line needs to improve

Published May. 27, 2015 2:53 p.m. ET

While the Oregon State Beavers will undoubtably succeed in some areas in 2015, there are some positional groups that very concerning. One of those is the defensive line.

ESPN's Kyle Bonagura ranked the Pac-12 defenseive lines recently and has this to say about Oregon State:

"The Beavers need to replace four outgoing seniors, including Dylan Wynn, who started 44 games. Seniors DE Jashwa James, DE Lavonte Barnett and DT Jalen Grimble have all started games, but there isn’t much in the way of depth."

In order for the Beavers to succeed in 2015, in head coach Gary Andersen's first year, the defensive line is going to need to come together as a unit and do it quickly. There is little room for error in the Pac-12.
