HANOVER, N.H. (AP) Ethan O'Day scored 16 points and added eight rebounds and three blocks to help lead Vermont to a 68-63 victory over Dartmouth on Wednesday night.

After Dartmouth's Evan Boudreaux hit a 3-pointer to tie Vermont at 58-58 with 2:25 left, the Catamounts closed the game on a 9-3 run to seal the win. Seven of the nine points came from the free throw line, including five from Kurt Steidl. Vermont got to the free throw line 30 times overall on the night.

After two Steidl free throws and a Cam Ward jumper gave the Catamounts (4-4) a five point lead, Miles Wright hit a 3-pointer which cut the Big Green's deficit back to two. But Steidl hit three of four in the final minute to close it out.

Trae Bell-Haynes added 15 points for Vermont and Steidl had 10.
