Lewis leads Abilene Christian over Central Arkansas 67-55

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Jaren Lewis had 16 points and nine rebounds and Jaylen Franklin posted 12 points, eight assists and six rebounds as Abilene Christian beat Central Arkansas 67-55 on Saturday.

Payten Ricks had 11 points for Abilene Christian (23-6, 12-4 Southland Conference), which earned its fifth consecutive road victory.

Thatch Unruh had 17 points for the Bears (11-18, 6-10). Tanner Schmit added 15 points. Hayden Koval had 8 points and six blocks.

The Wildcats improved to 2-0 against the Bears this season. Abilene Christian defeated Central Arkansas 79-56 on Jan. 26.

Abilene Christian takes on Stephen F. Austin at home on Wednesday. Central Arkansas plays Sam Houston State on the road on Wednesday.
