Brown matches career high, leads Bucknell to 78-65 win (Jan 11, 2018)

LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) Stephen Brown matched his career high with 23 points, Zach Thomas had 13 and Nana Foulland added 12 as Bucknell raced ahead of Lehigh in the second half to take a 78-65 win on Thursday night.

Brown grabbed five rebounds with two assists and two steals. Thomas also had six rebounds and three steals.

Bucknell (10-8, 4-1 Patriot League) won its third straight and sixth of its last seven games to maintain a share of first place in the league.

The Bison, who had a 28-26 advantage at the half, started the second period on a 17-7 run as Brown hit a jumper and Bruce Moore and Foulland slammed home consecutive dunks. They pushed the lead to 60-44 at the 6:16 mark. Lehigh rallied in the closing minutes to close to 73-63 but could not overtake the Bison.

Pat Andree had 14 points and Jordan Cohen added 13 for Lehigh (7-9, 2-3).
