Despite only one year there, Durant misses Seattle

Despite only playing one year there, Kevin Durant said he loves and misses Seattle.

Kevin Durant loves Oklahoma City.

But he said he misses Seattle.

Durant returned to the Pacific Northwest during the weekend and played in a charity game, hosted by NBA guard Jamal Crawford.

Durant, who was the Rookie of the Year for the SuperSonics in 2007-2008, told the fans at Seattle Pacific University, "I just want to say I miss you guys," according to the Associated Press. After the game Durant Tweeted, "I love and miss Seattle...damn."

Durant also Tweeted, "Seattle will always have a place in my heart!"

Seattle’s SuperSonics became the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2008.

Durant played all but 51 seconds of the game. He scored 62 points on 26-of-62 shooting, including an 8-of-32 effort from the 3-point line. His team lost 147-141 in overtime.
