IRVING, Texas – Injured Cowboys defensive end
DeMarcus Ware went another day without practicing Thursday, but told reporters his strained quad is feeling much better.
Ware had not missed a game in his NFL career until injuring the thigh against Washington. He has missed the last two games.
Players who miss the Wednesday and Thursday practices, the toughest workouts of the week, typically don't play. However, Ware will likely be a gametime decision for Sunday's home contest against Minnesota.
If Ware can't go Sunday, he will get another week to recover with the Cowboys having a bye next week.
Safety Barry Church was again listed as a limited participant in Thursday's workout, while fellow safety J.J. Wilcox did not participate.
