Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman now dating the NFL player who asked her out on video

Olympic champion Aly Raisman has revealed that she and NFL player Colton Underwood are officially a couple, People magazine confirmed.

As you recall, Raisman famously agreed to a date with the former Oakland Raiders tight end when Underwood, who is now a free agent, asked the gymnast out via a video message after she won a gold and two silver medals at the Rio Summer Games.

“We happened to both be in Denver at the same time,” three-time Olympic gold-medalist Raisman told People. “I was there for less than 12 hours, he was flying in for just a few days. It just ended up working perfectly.”

Now, Raisman has confirmed to People magazine that she and Underwood had “kept it quiet for a while,” but have been dating since the MTV Video Music Awards in August.

The couple showed up together on the red carpet at Sports Illustrated's Sportsperson of the Year awards in New York City on Monday.
