Oakland Raiders Players React to Derek Carr's Injury

Updated Mar. 5, 2020 1:18 a.m. ET

Oakland Raiders players (and Jack Del Rio) took to social media to show support for Derek Carr, who broke the fibula in his right leg in Saturday’s win over the Colts.

With a 33-7 lead early in the 4th quarter, the Oakland Raiders had seemed to finally put together a complete performance, dominating the Indianapolis Colts on Christmas Eve — and then it all came crashing down. Derek Carr was sacked with 11:02 to go in the game, and suffered a break in his right fibula.

Members of the team, Jack Del Rio included, expressed their support for Derek Carr following the injury.

Donald Penn allowed the sack where Derek Carr got hurt — the first sack allowed by Penn all season. He took the injury to D.C. very personally.
