Buccaneers place DT Clinton McDonald on injured reserve

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed defensive tackle Clinton McDonald on injured reserve and released linebacker Julian Stanford from the practice squad.

McDonald sat out last Sunday's 23-20 overtime win at Atlanta after suffering a pectoral muscle injury the previous week against Washington.

The seventh-year pro started six games this season, finishing with 31 tackles.

Tampa Bay announced the moves on Tuesday.
