Giant sinkhole swallows 20 cars in Florence, Italy

Around 20 cars in Florence, Italy, became victims of a newly-formed sinkhole Wednesday morning.

The cars had been left parked on the historic Ponte Vecchio bridge over the River Arno. However, when their owners returned to them, they found them sitting at the bottom of a newly-formed river, measuring 650 ft. by 23 ft.

Nobody was injured in the incident, which was caused by a water pipe failure from below. Many buildings surrounding the area are now without water.
