Yonathan Daza - Slated to join team SundayDaza (not injury related) is scheduled to join the Rockies at spring training Sunday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
ImpactDaza missed the first week of camp due to visa issues and will likely require some time to build up before he's ready to appear in Cactus League games, but it's unlikely that his absence will impact his availability for Opening Day. The 28-year-old's path toward playing time got slightly murkier when the Rockies signed Kris Bryant to play left field, but Daza should still be one of the top fill-in options in the outfield to begin the 2022 campaign.

Brendan Rodgers - Late scratch SaturdayRodgers was scratched from the lineup for Saturday's Cactus League game against the Giants for an unspecified reason, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
ImpactScratches from spring lineups aren't always due to injuries, so it's not yet clear whether Rodgers is hurt or whether he'll be available off the bench. Alan Trejo will enter the lineup at second base and bat seventh.

Raimel Tapia - Arrives at campTapia (not injury related) reported to spring training Saturday, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.
ImpactTapia was a late arrival to camp due to visa issues, but he'll now be able to begin working out with the team after missing nearly a week of spring training. The 28-year-old is in line for a depth role to begin the 2022 campaign since Kris Bryant is expected to mainly play in left field, while Ryan McMahon should see the bulk of the playing time at third base. Tapia had a career-high 20 stolen bases last season and is a potential trade candidate heading into 2022.

Ryne Nelson - Turns in four innings FridayNelson allowed one run on three hits while striking out two and walking none over four innings in Friday's spring game against the Rockies.
ImpactNelson, the organization's Minor League Pitcher of the Year for 2021, has been throwing since minor league camp opened last month, so it's natural for him to be up to four innings at this stage of spring. Drafted as a reliever in the second round of the 2019 draft, Nelson is being groomed as a starter for now. He went a combined 7-4 with 3.17 ERA in 22 starts for High-A Hillsboro and Double-A Amarillo in 2021.

Ketel Marte - Targeting return MondayMarte (eye) should be a full participant by Monday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
ImpactMarte took swings in the batting cage for a second consecutive day Friday then was informed by the eye doctor that he'd be a full go next week. Marte has been dealing with eye irritation that prevented him from participating in any workouts since camp began.
