Heat urge fans to vote Bosh an All-Star starter

It’s the final hours of voting for the 2013 NBA All-Star Game and the Miami Heat are making a concerted effort to get Chris Bosh into the Eastern Conference starting lineup.
Heat owner Micky Arison has been the de facto campaign manager, offering daily Twitter reminders to fans to vote Bosh.

LeBron James joined the act Sunday, urging his nearly 7 million followers to vote Bosh.

When the voting totals were last released on Jan. 3, Bosh trailed Boston’s Kevin Garnett 390,751 to 362,973 for the third and final Eastern Conference frontcourt starting spot behind James and New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony.
Wade was the leading vote-getter for a starting backcourt spot for the East.
If the campaign works, the Heat will be the first team with three All-Star starters since 1990, when the Lakers’ Magic Johnson, James Worthy and A.C. Green started for the Western Conference.
The All-Star starters will be announced Thursday.
