The Arizona Rattlers play their first home game as members of the Indoor Football League on Sunday at 3 p.m. vs. the Iowa Barnstormers at Talking Stick Resort Arena. The game is one of seven Rattlers home games that can be seen on FOX Sports Arizona Plus and FOX Sports GO.

The Rattlers (0-1) are coming off a 40-29 loss to defending champion Sioux Falls in their inaugural IFL game. The Barnstormers are also 0-1 after a 68-53 loss to Wichita Falls in their opener.

The Arizona and Iowa franchises have a lengthy history from their previous affiliation with the Arena Football League -- having met 14 times previously. The most noteworthy meeting came in the 1997 Arena Bowl, a 55-33 Rattlers victory over an Iowa team quarterbacked by Kurt Warner.

Quarterback Darron Thomas completed 14 of 28 passes for 156 yards and three touchdowns in his first Rattlers start last week, and running back Darrell Monroe had 15 rushed for 47 yards and one TD. Anthony Amos had two touchdowns among his five receptions.
