Arizona loses 2 sophomore linebackers to concussions

Rich Rodriguez said that sophomores C.J. Dozier and Dakota Conwell have been advised to retire from football.
“Both of these guys have had multiple concussions … Our doctors do a good job. If our doctors say you probably shouldn’t play anymore, guys are going to listen," Rodriguez said.
Both were among Rodriguez's first signees after taking the Arizona job.
Conwell, a four-star recruit from Pittsburgh, played in 10 games as a true freshman. Dozier, from Temecula, Calif., played in nine games at outside linebacker, starting one. He made 27 tackles, including 15 in the bowl game against Nevada.
Both were being counted on to contribute and provide depth at the positon this fall behind seniors Jake Fischer and Marquis Flowers.
