Kevin Hayes names fantasy football team 'Brady's Bunch', stacks it with Packers players

Kevin Hayes is a Boston boy born and bred, but he seems to have a hidden affinity for the Green Bay Packers. In a recent behind-the-scenes feature by the Rangers, Derek Stepan made the rounds in the locker room to talk fantasy football with his teammates, and Kevin Hayes revealed a very interesting strategy: load the team with Packers players.

Hayes admitted he named his team Brady's Bunch, but after teammate and fellow Boston boy Keith Yandle snatched up Tom Brady as his quarterback, Hayes took his team in a more Green Bay direction.

"I have seven Green Bay Packers on my team because Keith took Tom Brady, so I decided to go a different route," Hayes told Stepan.

Hayes' intensity about his fantasy football team was balanced nicely with goaltender Henrik Lundqvist's proud lack of interest in the sport, although he displayed his football knowledge by correctly noting how many points a team gets for a touchdown.

Now if only someone can really get to the bottom of whether Yandle has 12 tattooed on his back.
