Flyers might have Gagne for Game 4

Published May. 6, 2010 1:00 a.m. ET

Flyers forward Simon Gagne has returned to the ice a little more than two weeks after he broke a toe on his right foot and is questionable for Friday's Game 4 against Boston.

The Flyers need all the help they can get. The Bruins hold a 3-0 series lead and are one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since 1992.

Gagne was a surprise participant at Thursday's practice.

The Bruins have their own injury concerns. Forward David Krejci will miss the rest of the playoffs after dislocating his right wrist. The Bruins say injured defenseman Adam McQuaid is doubtful for Game 4.

Coach Claude Julien says the Bruins have played through so many injuries that they are getting tougher on the ice.
