With fork in hand, Chicago Blackhawks veteran forward Marian Hossa was all smiles as he ate pierogies out of the Stanley Cup on Thursday.
The tasty meal sure was welcome for Hossa, who worked up an appetite by showing off the cherished chalice at both a sports field and restaurant in Trencin, Slovakia.

The 36-year-old right wing was enjoying his third trip with the Stanley Cup to his hometown, having done so after the Blackhawks defeated the Philadelphia Flyers in 2010 and the Boston Bruins in 2013 before his team bested the Tampa Bay Lightning in June.

Trencin has also seen the Stanley Cup pay a visit in both 2011 and 2014, as Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara brought it home four years ago before Los Angeles Kings forward Marian Gaborik did the same last year.
