WATCH: Injured Lockette receives warm welcome from Seahawks fans

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette on Sunday night received a thunderous welcome home by the fans at CenturyLink Field.

Two weeks after suffering a season-ending injury that left him motionless on the turf in Dallas, Lockette got the home fans revved up moments before kickoff against the NFC West-leading Arizona Cardinals.

Clayton Pitre, a 91-year-old Congressional Gold Medal honoree, raised the ceremonial 12th Man flag to raucous applause and was joined by Lockette, who waved a 12th Man towel while still wearing his neck brace as the stadium reverberated with cheers.

Lockette also flashed his "L" sign, emblematic of "Love Our Brothers," and it was returned by a number of his teammates and coach Pete Carroll on the sideline.

Lockette also flashed that same L sign when he was carted off the field after absorbing a brutal hit by Cowboys safety Jeff Heath on a punt return. Lockette underwent surgery on Nov. 2 to repair ligament and disk damage in his neck and was placed on season-ending injured reserve by the Seahawks on Saturday.
