Philadelphia Eagles' Malcolm Jenkins named NFC Defensive Player of The Week
After an interception turned into a 99-yard touchdown against the New England Patriots, Malcolm Jenkins was destined for some accolades.
The NFL announced that Jenkins was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in his career.
Prior to Jenkins' touchdown return, he had a tackle for loss on Patriots' running back James White. Two plays later, he picked off Tom Brady for the go-ahead touchdown.
Jenkins also added five more tackles on the game.
On the year, Jenkins leads the Eagles with 76 tackles total tackles. This is also Jenkins' second year in a row with a pick-six.
