Chargers' Oliver breaks ankles in one electric touchdown run

Branden Oliver carved himself a niche in the Chargers offense last year.

Even with the addition of Melvin Gordon and the return of Danny Woodhead, Oliver can keep contributing if he's able to run like he did on his 10-yard touchdown run.

The Buffalo product took a stretch play to the wide hashmark. There, he stuck his cleat in the ground, cut on a dime, and drove upfield.

Cowboys defender Jeff Heath met him in the hole. He made one crucial error, though -- and Oliver diced around Heath's failed arm-tackle, putting the defender right on his face.

Oliver ended his night with 53 yards on 10 carries. He looks more and more like the Chargers' old No. 43, Darren Sproles, with each passing touch.
