49ers' Hyde could miss third straight game after sitting out practice

Carlos Hyde did not practice again Thursday and could miss his third consecutive game when the San Francisco 49ers visit the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night.

Hyde, who is dealing with a stress fracture in his foot, has not played or practiced since the 49ers dropped a 20-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 22.

“We’ll know more about Carlos as we get closer to getting on the bus, getting on the plane and getting up to Seattle,” said 49ers offensive Geep Chryst, who added that the artificial turn at CenturyLink Field will have no bearing on whether Hyde plays. "It's just really more of a day-to-day (status).”

If Hyde is unable to play, Shaun Draughn will likely made his second straight start. Draughn, who was signed San Francisco on Nov. 8, rushed for 58 yards and had four receptions for 38 yards in a 17-16 win over Atlanta six days later.

Wide receiver Anquan Boldin, who also has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury, practiced on a limited basis for the second straight day.
