Which NBA head coach was deemed 'the Steph Curry of coaches'?
Brad Stevens is widely regarded as one of the best coaches in basketball. Last season, he led a young, inexperienced Boston Celtics team into the playoffs when nobody expected them to get there.
And since entering the NBA in 2013, the former Butler coach has been receiving sweet compliments from colleagues all over the league.
Add Darren Erman to the list. Currently an assistant coach in charge of defense with the New Orleans Pelicans, Erman saw Stevens up close last year when he had a similar role with the Celtics. And he just gave his former boss some mic-drop-worthy praise:
Erman should know: He spent time on Mark Jackson's coaching staff with the Golden State Warriors and worked closely with the reigning NBA MVP. (Sure, Erman's time in Golden State ended in controversy, but there's no doubting his coaching acumen or mind for the game.)
Bottom line: Stevens is great. Curry is great. And this comment is the best.
