What Kobe did the day after 60 was almost as crazy as his last game

Published Apr. 14, 2016 9:32 p.m. ET

After his 60-point performance in his last game Wednesday night, Kobe Bryant was asked about the reason he still was wearing his jersey while answering questions for the media.

Kobe said it was simply because he no longer had to worry about icing down his body to recover for the next day.

Well, sore or not, the Mamba apparently wasn't sleeping in the day after dropping 60.

Wondering what the "office" is for Kobe, if it's not a basketball court? Well, Kobe has established Kobe Inc. to pursue business ventures, such as his investment in BodyArmor sports drinks, and bought a 16,650-square-foot building in Newport Beach, Calif., where he lives, for its headquarters.

Also, Kobe told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne he has a passion for "storytelling"; he executive produced "Kobe Bryant's Muse", a documentary on himself last year, recently founded Kobe Studios, and will be played by Michael B. Jordan in an upcoming film — at least in this funny new Apple commercial.

Kobe took a break from work on Thursday to reflect on the close of his career again.
