Forbes ranks Kevin Durant as the seventh highest paid athlete in the world

How's this for an insane statistic: Kevin Durant made more money than all but one NBA player last year. This is according to Forbes, which recently published their list of highest-grossing athletes for the last calendar year.

Per the report, Durant made $19.1 million in salary and a whopping $35 million in endorsements. With the salary cap set to explode as Durant hits free agency next summer, that number will probably be a great deal higher in a few year's time.
