The next step in the wild story of the altercation between the NYPD and Atlanta Hawks Thabo Sefolsha and Pero Antic is set to take place next week in New York City Criminal Court, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore reports.

The hearing is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 16 (the same day as Game 6 of the NBA Finals, if you're keeping track of your calendar), and is a required procedural step before a date for a trial can be set. According to the report, the arresting officers and their legal representation will also be at the hearing.

Both players have been charged with obstruction governmental administration, while each player has separate additional charges related to their accused conduct with the NYPD.
