Stakes were high for Saturday's AFC wild-card game between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Especially for All-Star center fielders Andrew McCutchen of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Adam Jones of the Baltimore Orioles.

The outfielders made a Twitter bet on the outcome of Saturday's playoff game between the two AFC North rivals — the Ravens would win 30-17.

Below are the Twitter posts before the game started.

It was a follow-up of bet made during the regular season.

Jones lost that initial wager when the Steelers beat the Ravens 43-23 on Nov. 2. The loss meant Jones has to wear a Ben Roethlisberger jersey to an Orioles home game at some point in the 2015 season. Roethlisberger is the Steelers quarterback.

Had the Ravens won, McCutchen was to don a Terrell Suggs jersey to a Pirates home game one day this next season — Suggs is a Ravens linebacker.

Jones likely wasn't too thrilled about having to wear a Steelers jersey come April, so he figured out a way to get out of it if the Ravens could eliminate the AFC North champions in the one-and-done playoff game on Saturday.

Cutch didn’t elaborate on what Jones would have to do if the Steelers would have won, but after Saturday's result, it doesn't matter.

Just wondering though: Was Jones happier about not having to wear Big Ben's jersey or the fact that the hometown team won?
