Impact The veteran slugger joined Atlanta on a minor-league deal in early July and will now hit the open market after batting .333 (10-for-30) with three doubles and a homer in nine games at Triple-A Gwinnett. McCutchen started the year with the Rangers but was let go in May after posting a .192/.277/.260 slash line and career-worst 26.5 percent strikeout rate in 83 plate appearances.
