Friendly follies: Barkley, fan in stands share rough night at Wrigley

Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta had a stellar night at Wrigley Field on Tuesday, taking a no-hitter into the eighth inning and one-hitting the Reds for the first shutout of his career.
Others, however, did not have such a wonderful night at the Friendly Confines.
First, it was Sir Charles himself, who tossed out the first pitch.
Even Barkley would have a hard time describing this toss as anything other than simply "turrible." I'm sure his "Inside the NBA" co-hosts will have lots of fun with this footage next season.
Just watch the video above.
And later, with Arrieta cruising through a no-hitter in the seventh inning (he lost it with five outs to go) and the Cubs up 7-0, Jorge Soler launched a home run over the left-field fence.
But one lucky fan who caught the ball quickly became unlucky during his post-catch celebration with those around him. While hopping around and high-fiving his fellow Cubbie diehards, the man's wedding ring slipped off his finger and fell onto the field.
Take a gander:

Thankfully, the ring was found on the warning track and returned to the fan.
Ah, Cubs fans.
